Miss

Perhaps I'll miss the sun the most

That yellow ball of burning gas

It cheered me up for many years

My go to star since kindy class

I'll also miss the moon and stars

Those lovely objects in the sky

They waned and twinkled constantly

My friends who never said goodbye

But most of all I'll miss the earth

The leafy mass of land and sea

It picked me up right to the end

My home and happy family
