Longer You Survive, Older You Get

I've heard a number of folks older than me say

"I don't feel old, I don't feel like I'm old as I am"

sometimes I'd think, "well, you sure do look old"

and now I'm old, but I also don't feel old as I am

which means I'm appearing old to young people

so, I guess it's my turn to be old, knock on wood
